3 Reasons to Choose Peel and Stick Wallpaper from Rocky Mountain Decal
My husband and I kept going back and forth about what we wanted to do with our boys’ nursery walls. We debated painting it, using decals or wallpaper. We decided we wanted something that we could easily change in a few years when they get older, without the hassle of repainting/ sanding etc. That’s where Rocky Mountain Decals (RMD) came in! We would get to choose a BEAUTIFUL peel and stick wallpaper/ decal that WOUDN’T damage our walls. It sounded too good to be true at first, until we actually used it.

It is a ONE Person Job
I admit, you need patience in order to apply these decals if you want it done perfectly! My husband had installed the entire wall on his own while my pregnant-self supervised lol.
They arrive in strips to your chosen Height and Width of the wall you’re decorating. For example, ours came in 6 strips for a 8ft x 12ft wall. You’ll need to wipe the walls down with a wet cloth the night before OR in our situation, we had a brand-new bedroom that didn’t need much so we wiped the walls with a dry cloth just beforehand. You should give yourself a few inches to the top of the wall from where you’d like to start your decal placement in case of error. Using one hand to peel, while the other hand uses the applicator to smooth – it becomes a one-person job!
No Mess
I’ve always had a love for wallpaper but was afraid of the mess and work involved (paste, water, etc.). I had heard of Peel and Stick Wallpaper but was told its less messy but equally time consuming to install. After using Rocky Mountain Decals, I can say it is not messy and becomes easy to install once you place that first panel! The first panel took us the longest because we both had never used peel and stick wallpaper before, but in total is took us 3 hours to install the entire thing! The clean up? Throwing away the backing of each panel lol. It isn’t sticky on your hands, or doesn’t require anything other than two hands and an application tool which RMD supplies you with.
Easily Removable
My husband and I had made a few errors on the first strip and thought we were doomed…BUT we quickly and easily peeled off parts of the decal and just reapplied – it was THAT easy. No damage to the walls or to the decal when doing this. It is made of extremely high-quality fabric which manipulates easily if a mistake is made and does not tear or scratch with replacement! The high-quality fabric will also come in handy when our boys get older and may want to cause havoc lol!
