FLORENCE: Hidden Gem’s & Must Do’s🤍
This was our next stop after Positano. With a private transfer from Positano back to the Napoli train station, you can take a fast train from Napoli to Firenze which is about 3.5 hours!
You need a minimum of 2-3 nights here. I would describe it as a ‘Gothic Rome’. It is simply stunning and there is so much to see and do there.

FLORENCE Must Do’s ✨:
1. Visit Santa Maria Novella Perfumery 🌹
This is an 800-year-old perfumery that has the most unique fragrances your nose 👃🏼will ever smell. It became famous for making a custom fragrance for Catherine de’ Medici; the Queen of France. You can walk away with a 100ml for 80 euros which is much less than what a nice bottle over here would cost in Canadian dollars.
2. Book a VESPA & WINE Tour [Day Trip] to Tuscany✨
Want to ride vespas 🛵through the winding roads of Chianti while you embrace the surrounding wineries? This was the true Tuscany experience offered through Florencetown🍷🍇!
3. Watch the sunset at Ponte Vecchio 🤍.
4. Visit THE MALL | LUXURY OUTLETS in Tuscany✨.
You can snag amazing deals at this huge luxury outlet mall. A shuttle bus takes you from Firenze to The Mall in just under 30 minutes! Happy Shopping ✨.
5. Try your first STEAK FLORENTINE 🥩.
This is a famous cuisine in Florence and a must try.
6. Visit the DUOMO ⛪️.
7. Shop on and near VIA DE’ TORNABUONI 🛍.
Be sure to also check out Rinascente 😍 - you’re welcome.
Restaurants You Need to Try in FIRENZE✨:
Mercato Centrale
A famous market filled with amazing dining options for local authentic food. This is where we tried our very first Steak Florentine.
Trattoria Za'Za
Great food, history and they sell their own family recipes in a cookbook (makes for a great keepsake!)
Osteria dell'Enoteca
Try their dough balls as a starter! Great food and situated on a cobblestone walkway which gives you that Florentine charm while eating.
As always, grazie for reading.
